Ooni, Enitan Ogunwusi, Returns From The Forest With The Traditional Crown

The New Ooni,Oba Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) is expected to be crown as the ooni of Ife by the traditional chiefs today after he returned last night from ilofi, where he had been in seclusion, the ceremony is expected to be performed by the traditional chiefs in the palace without any public attendance, while the receiving of staff-of-office from the state government is expected to happen on the 30th November. the King is seen in these photos emerging from the forest with the traditional crown called Aare, which is believed to be given to the new ooni by the gods as a symbol that he has fulfill all traditional rites.'
